JOCELYN CHIAPPONE

Owner & Head Designer

Digs Design Company; led by owner Jocelyn Chiappone, generates spaces that enchant and comfort. “Our design sensibility is New England chic with a mastery of color and comfort. We focus on the needs of our clients with superior project management and fine attention to detail. Ultimate client satisfaction is always our goal.”

Jocelyn listens to the client’s needs and applies her design expertise to create beautiful spaces that are ideal for living. She brings exquisite color and bold patterns into rooms that need to be awakened. In addition, she incorporates soft pallets where fine silhouette and texture outshine color. The question that begins every project is what is the client hoping to achieve: a space infused with brightness and energy or a peaceful respite from the outside world?

On Her Favorite Space To Design:

"Is there anything better than a fabulous kitchen? I believe everyone should have their dream kitchen. It is truly the center of every home — a place to cook, entertain and unwind. Between custom millwork, hardware selections and lighting, there are so many elements that help create a truly bespoke space that's high on style and function."

KATIE WILKINSON

Katie works alongside Jocelyn and the design team to execute each project with the creative ingenuity and precision Digs delivers to each client. From the initial materials selections and visuals, to installation, Katie is a vital asset to the Digs Team. Her role is also client-facing as she works hands-on with many clients throughout each crucial phase of the design process. Having graduated from The University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design, Katie has a strong affinity to the world of textiles. Following her undergraduate degree, she worked for Puma and Lilly Pulitzer, where she worked closely with the design teams and lead visuals.

What She Loves About Working For Digs:

"As a team, we put a great deal of time and hard work into our projects and it's all worth it in the end when we get to see what we've created."

Sarah has her hands in just about every function of the firm. She is truly the individual that helps keep each project in motion, from procurement to project timelines, vendor relationships to coordinating installations. On Why Interior Design Is Important:

"Surrounding yourself with beautiful, comfortable things makes your life and your mind rest easy. A cluttered room is a sure sign of stress but a room that flows efficiently while looking amazing makes for a happy life! Interior design is a way to express yourself within the walls of your home, what could be more important than loving where you live?"

JENNI McLANE

Interior Designer

Having spent a portion of her career at a small firm in Boston, Jenni's breadth of interior design experience is deeply rooted in the drafting and architectural elements that help set each comprehensive project up for success. Jenni plays an integral role in our renovation and new construction projects. In addition to her architectural expertise, she serves a managerial role with our project partners. We are so happy to see her back on the creative side of design as she possesses a keen ability to create beautiful spaces.

On Living In New England:

"I especially love the changes in seasons and living near the ocean — is there anything better than a summer day at the beach?!"
